Cutzamala de Pinzón : ウィキペディア英語版 | Cutzamala de Pinzón
Cutzamala de Pinzón is a city, and seat of Cutzamala de Pinzón Municipality, in the Mexican state of Guerrero. As of a 2005 the town has a population of 2276. It is located in the far northwestern part of the state, on the border with Michoacán. ==History==
Eutimo Pinzón, often considered the hero of Cutzamala, was the general who defended the town during the French Intervention of 1874. The name Cutzamala comes from a Nahuatl word ''cutzamatl'' meaning "weasel"; hence, "Place of Weasels". It was known to Purepecha speakers as "Apatzingán", which has the same meaning. An alternative theory suggests the Nahuatl word ''cutzamallot'', meaning "rainbow."〔(Guerrero - Cutzamala de Pinzón )〕
